CURRENT MOON Last updated 29th January, 2010 |
Hi & Welcome to my Web site!Hi and welcome to my website which is dedicated to my ever growing interests in backyard astronomy and in particular, my fascination with astrophotography. I received my first telescope when I was about 15. It was a 60mm Vixen refractor which was an excellent introduction to astronomy. I kept it it for 25 years until I came by my first "serious" telescope, an 8" Meade LX90 GPS, which my wife & a bunch of friends gave me for my 40th birthday. Since then, I have owned a 10" Meade LX200GPS which I sold to fund an upgrade to a better astrophotography platform. I now have a Losmandy Titan mount with a Takahashi FSQ106 Apochromatic refractor. I have added bits and pieces to this website which I have found relevant to my astronomy pursuits along my journey. I hope you find it useful. Cheers & Clear Skies, Matt
